Are you building or upgrading an arcade cabinet, bartop, or virtual pinball machine? This compact 2.1 audio amplifier module has been specifically selected for projects where sound quality and reliability matter. Thanks to the efficient Class-D technology, the module delivers powerful performance without excessive heat generation inside the cabinet.
Why is it ideal for arcade projects?
Dual Yamaha YDA138-E Chips: Equipped with two high-quality Yamaha chips for clear stereo sound and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio. This ensures a clean reproduction of sound effects and soundtracks, without the distracting background noise often found in cheaper amplifiers.
Full 2.1 Setup: Directly drive two stereo speakers (2x 15W) and a passive subwoofer (30W) at 4 Ohms. Ideal for bringing out that classic arcade sound or deep bass effects perfectly.
Perfect for stable 12V systems: The module runs optimally on a stable DC 12V power supply. This makes it excellent for combining with the high-quality, filtered power supplies standard in professional cabinets.
Onboard control: Features a physical volume knob and separate controls to precisely fine-tune the bass response and overall volume to the acoustics of your cabinet.
Space-saving: Measuring just 80 x 60 mm, the module takes up very little space and is quick and clean to mount thanks to the integrated mounting holes.

Important mounting tip for an interference-free setup: Class-D amplifiers are sensitive to the quality of the input voltage. Cheap wall adapters often deliver 'dirty power' with high ripple voltage and insufficient filtering. This usually results in an annoying whine, hum, or buzz through your speakers as soon as the amplifier is under load. For an interference-free audio experience, we recommend powering this module with a high-quality Mean Well power supply. An industrial Mean Well power supply delivers a clean, stable, and excellently filtered 12V voltage. This allows the Dual Yamaha chips to perform at their absolute best and prevents unwanted background noise.
