This 50cm long rigid aluminum LED strip is equipped with 36 powerful red SMD5730 LEDs.
The LED strip is easy to connect to a 12V power supply and is also dimmable.
SMD5730 LEDs provide much more light than standard SMD5050 LEDs and are also very economical with a power consumption of only
0.42A p / 50cm

In order to maintain a maximum light output, it is advisable not to place more than 3 meters in series
Provided the power supply used can handle it, it is possible to connect several series of LED strips in parallel to a single power supply.
For larger projects, we recommend using several smaller power supplies, so that in the event of a faulty power supply not everything fails at once.

The rigid led strip pcb's are easy to cut to size every 4cm (= 3 leds) with pliers or to break off after notching the aluminum with a Stanley knife.

The SMD5730 rigid aluminum LED strips are ideal for dry situations where a fixed color is desired with a high light intensity. The light intensity time of SMD5730 LEDs is approximately 3x higher than with regular SMD5050 LEDs.
Rigid LED strips are not provided with an adhesive layer as is the case with standard IP20 or IP65 LED strips.
However, if you want to mount them on a smooth surface, it is best to do this with thermally glued tape.
