5M WS2812B 5V 300 Leds IP67 Digital ARGB Led Strip

Digital RGB LED strips, also called Dreamcolor or horse race LEDs, are special RGB LED strips that are digitally controlled by means of a WS2812B chip.
Unlike standard RGB strips, where the chosen color always applies to the entire strip, digital LED strips are able to generate many colors and associated light effects.
The possibilities are thus virtually endless and are only limited by the possibilities of the chosen controller (controller).

This WS2812B LED strip has a length of 5 meters and is equipped with 300 Ultra Bright RGB SMD5050 LEDs with integrated WS2812 chip

IP67 means that the LEDs are protected by a silicone sleeve, making it suitable for outdoor use and in rooms with high humidity.
Keep in mind that the connectors and loose wires are not protected and you must make a protective connection yourself if the situation requires it.

Power consumption:
WS2812B LED strips work on 5V and use 60mA per LED, which equates to 2.5A per meter (full power static white)
When calculating the correct power supply capacity, always take about 10-20% overcapacity into account.
It will not be difficult to find a suitable power supply for connecting a few meters of strip, but if you want to connect several full rolls, you must provide them with a separate power supply every 5 meters.
For a 5 meter roll you need a 10A power supply.

To customize:
The WS2812B Neopixel digital LED strips can be cut and / or connected after each LED.
Keep in mind that digital LED strips can only be connected in one direction, the current direction is indicated on the LED strip with arrows.
The ends of a full roll are glued shut at the factory, but when you make the LED strip to size, you can easily open the open ends with silicone glue.
