5M WS2812B Addressable RGB Pixel Led Strip, 300 Leds, IP65, 5V/DC

Digital RGB led strips, also called Dreamcolor or horse race leds are special RGB led strips that are digitally controlled by means of a WS2812B chip.
In contrast to standard RGB strips, where the selected color always applies to the entire strip, digital RGB led strips are able to generate many colors and related lighting effects.
The possibilities are virtually endless and are only limited by the capabilities of the chosen controller.

This WS2812B led strip has a length of 5 meters and is equipped with 300 Ultra Bright RGB SMD5050 LEDs with integrated WS2812B chip.
 
The IP65 rating means that the leds are protected with a silicone coating and are therefore touch and light resistant. IP65 LED strips without protective housing are not suitable for outdoor use and humid areas. 

Power consumption:
WS2812B led strips operate at 5V and use 60mA per led, which is 2.5A per meter (full power static white)
When calculating the correct capacity power supply, always allow for about 10-20% excess capacity. 
For connecting a few meters of strip, it will not be difficult to find a suitable power supply for this, but if you want to connect several full rolls, you will need to provide them with a separate power supply every 5 meters. 
For a 5 meter roll, you will need a 5V/10A power supply.

Tailoring:
The WS2812B Neopixel digital LED strips can be cut and/or spliced after each LED.
Please note that digital led strips can only be connected in one direction, the current direction is indicated on the led strip with arrows.  
The ends of a full roll are glued closed at the factory, but when you cut the led strip to size you can easily make the open ends watertight again with silicone glue.
