Each joystick comes with a dust cover, TP-MA board with soldered microswitches and a 35mm ball top of your choice
The joystick is factory set to a light spring pressure, but if you want to adjust this, this is possible by using a stiffer spring.

The Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT joystick comes with a square restrictor plate. When you remove the ristrictor plate from the joystick   you can easily turn the middle part of it by pressing it slightly

With this you can easily set the joystick and make it suitable for 4 and 8-way games.
The joystick is factory set to 8-way.

If you want even more control over your gameplay, a special 8-way restrictor plate is optionally available. The octagonal inner rim makes everything feel even better and 4-way games are also much easier to play on an 8-way joystick. In fact, we have found that many 4-way games play even smoother with the octagonal restrictor plate than without.

If you play 4 and 8-way games together and you don't want to constantly have to adjust your joystick, then the Sanwa GT-Y octagonal restrictor plate is a must have!
