Sanwa Denshi JLX-TP-8YT Balltop 4/8 Way Arcade Joystick

The Sanwa JLX-TP-8YT is a very high-quality joystick manufactured in Japan by Sanwa Denshi Co. 
The Sanwa JLX-TP-8YT joystick features a number of updated product improvements, including the material from which some parts are made,
making the joystick move better and perform more accurately.

The joystick comes standard with a new GT-X square restrictor and is configured in 8 directions. 

By changing the material of the parts, the Sanwa JLX has achieved high precision and improved input accuracy.

The base material of the LX-P-2 M has been changed from naylon to POM (polyacetal resin). This is less sensitive to environmental influences such as temperature and humidity.
Increasing the thickness of the washer for the M base reduces noise during operation.
The material of the microprinted board has been changed from phenolic paper to CEM-3. This results in a longer service life.

If you want even more control over your gameplay, take advantage of the 8-way octagonal GT-Y constraint plate.
This is because the octagonal inner edge ensures that diagonal strikes are exactly the same distance as the X and Y axes.
A further advantage is that a GT-Y restrictor plate allows you to play 4-way games (such as Donkey Kong and Pac-Man) much better than a standard 8-way joystick with a square restrictor plate.
