Sanwa JLX-TM-8T Balltop 4/8 way Arcade Joystick with Cherry Microswitches

If you are building a new arcade cabinet, fight stick or looking for a good replacement for your old joystick, you can hardly ignore the Sanwa JLX-TM-8T.
This is one of the most versatile joysticks on the market and therefore widely applicable. Whether you like playing Pac-Man or Street Fighter, the Sanwa JLF
is at home in all markets.
There are also many mods available for this joystick series, allowing you to fine-tune it to your personal preferences.

This special edition is also equipped with Cherry D44X microswitches making it a lot quieter than the standard version.

The Sanwa JLF-TM-8T joystick comes with an adjustable square restrictor plate that you can set to a 4 or 8 way movement. 
The restrictor is default set to 8-way, but if you want to change it to 4-way, you can easily do so by 
unclipping the restrictor from the base and pressing the center piece from below and turning it a quarter turn.
The Joystick is suitable for dedicated 4- and 8-way games, but if you do not want to adjust the restrictor plate every time
we can definitely recommend the GT-Y restrictor.
Due to the octagonal inner edge, this restrictor not only allows you to play 8-way games even more refined, but also 4-way games are significantly better
than on a standard 8-way joystick with a square restrictor. 

From the factory, the joystick comes with a 0.9LB spring, but should you find this too light, you can easily replace it with a heavier version. 
Here there is a choice of a 2LB medium spring and a 4LB stiff version for those who like the American joystick feel, but still want to retain the finesse of a Japanese joystick.
