Coin taster holder including 3.5” coin comparative CPU coin taster.

The coin prover unit features a rugged steel front plate with hammer effect and equipped with a return/reject mechanism with collection cup.
The unit comes standard with a self-learning 3.5” CPU coinprover that automatically adjusts all readings to the inserted (metal) coin or token.
This not only saves difficult programming work, but also makes conversion to another currency a snap.
For extra accuracy, the coin passage can be mechanically adjusted and readings can be set wider or tighter.
Always use as flawless a sample coin or token as possible.

The coin taster holder can be optionally fitted with a needle microswitch so that it can also be used in an electromechanical setup.
This is particularly useful if you are using a USB interface board (Dragonrise, Xinmotek etc) and want to combine the advantages of a CPU coin prover with a mechanical circuit.
Because a USB interface board operates at 5V and assumes a make-contact, you cannot connect a signal wire from an electronic coin acceptor to it.
To make the coin transducer work with a USB encoder you have to connect it to a 12V power supply and connect the microswitch to one of the pushbutton connectors on the interface board.
